This gorgeous Saskatchewan winter wedding in Cypress Hills was my last wedding of the 2015 season! What a way to end a great year! I was so exited when this couple contacted me about their November wedding and told me it would take place at The Resort at Cypress Hills. It was an absolutely beautiful location and I fell in love with all the trees!
I met the girls first thing in the morning in their townhouse, the sun was shining and their was fresh snow on the ground. I love hanging out with the girls, it is always so exciting and I love taking photos of all the little details. I escaped the hair spray haze for awhile and headed over to take some photos of the guys getting ready. Of course they were having fun and took only a fraction of the time to get ready (not fair)!
The ceremony took place in the town of Maple Creek, just a short drive away from the resort. They were married in a lovely church ceremony with their family and friends as witnesses. We headed out for photos at an old train car and then continued on to Ghosttown Blues, where the owner was so nice to let us in for some photos during their off season, such a cool place! We then went back up to the resort and took some of my favourite photos of the day in the beautiful Cypress Hills trees (drool)!
Their reception and dance both took place at the resort and it was a perfect way to end the day. I had so much fun watching all the dancing! A Saskatchewan groom and a bride from the East Coast made for a great party! I am sure the fun continued well into the night!
